The service in one paragraph
GA Water Damage is a free service that assists homeowners and businesses in Georgia in connecting with independent local water damage restoration providers. It is a referral service and not a contractor. It publishes general information and prints a call-forwarding number; it does not inspect, dry, clean, repair or rebuild anything, and it holds no trade license. The about GA Water Damage page describes how a call is connected.
Call the number on this page to be connected with an independent local provider.
Who you hire is your decision
Every provider reached through the site is an independent business. Providers are not employees, agents, partners or subcontractors of the operator of this site. The operator does not select a provider for your job, supervise the work or set the price.
Any agreement for work is between you and the provider alone, and the operator is not a party to it. GA Water Damage does not warrant or guarantee any work performed, any estimate given, or any statement a provider makes. Disputes about a job are between you and the provider.
License and insurance are yours to verify
It is the homeowner’s responsibility to verify that the hired contractor furnishes the license and insurance required for the work being performed. Being reached through this site is not an endorsement of any provider and is not evidence that a provider is licensed or insured.
Availability varies by place and time
Calls are connected through third-party call-routing providers to participating providers. Same-day and 24/7 emergency services are subject to provider participation, location, technician availability and demand. Availability is not guaranteed and may vary by market and appointment capacity.
A call may go unanswered, or may reach a provider that does not cover your address or cannot take the job. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911. Calls may be handled, and may be recorded, by those call-routing providers and by the provider reached, as the privacy policy explains.
Call to find out whether a participating provider covers your address.
Published facts and their limits
The pages on this site are general information drawn from public sources. They are not legal, insurance, medical or engineering advice, and they are not a substitute for an inspection of your property. Rules, fees and agency contacts change, so confirm anything that matters with the office named as the source.
Cost figures on the site are published national figures shown with their date. They are not quotes, and no provider is bound by them. All persons depicted in a photo or video are actors or models and not contractors listed on the site.
Using the site
You may read, link to and print the pages for your own use. You may not copy the content for republication, interfere with the site’s operation, or use the phone number for automated or fraudulent calls. Links to outside websites are given for reference, and the operator is not responsible for what those sites publish.
Liability limits, updates and how to write
The site and the connection it offers are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss or damage arising from the acts, omissions, work, pricing or delays of any provider, from a call that is not connected, or from reliance on general information published here.
Nothing in these terms removes a right that the law does not allow to be waived. If one part of the terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
These terms may be revised, and the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions about them can be sent through the contact page. The GA Water Damage home page is the place to start for anything else.
